Since the start of the Covid-19 lockdown, for many companies, it has presented huge business anxiety, challenges and concerns. The path to business recovery and growth will continue to be testing and companies now need to prepare plans and create conditions for better resilience, creativity and long-term sustainability.
To help with this quest, RTC North has created a suite of ‘Business Success After Covid-19’ work programmes – all aimed at supporting small North East companies as they navigate their own business journeys.

With the above in mind and, following the impact of the Covid-19 crisis, this programme has been created for North East based companies who are based within the construction sector. It is designed to improve their knowledge and capability within the specific areas of Sales & Marketing and Process Improvement.
What is it?
Spread across 3 Zoom-based webinars, by the end of the programme delegates will:
- Improve their knowledge and understanding of the effective and successfully proven methods and techniques for Sales & Marketing
- Begun to identify how to evaluate and find areas (within your company) for improvement through the use of techniques such as lean, continuous improvement and more
- This is great opportunity for the owners and leaders of construction companies to genuinely increase their future business success and resilience as they seek to recover and grow from the Covid-19 crisis.

Participants will, on completion of the programme, leave with increased knowledge and business competence. All participants will have developed a draft Sales & Marketing plan and determine Process Improvement strategies within their own companies.
SME companies who operate on a business to business based and are located within the North East LEP Area i.e.:
- North Tyneside
- South Tyneside
- County Durham
Please note: this is open to only companies who have not previously benefited from the Supply Chain North programme.
With only 20 places available – the webinars will provide the opportunity for the delegates to fully participates whilst also providing the platform for networking and interactive discussions.
Supply Chain North East will see four key partners joining forces to work with over 800 businesses between 2018-2021 supporting businesses to identify opportunities in new and existing markets. An integral part of the North East Growth Hub, Supply Chain North East will be delivered across the region by RTC North, Generator, North East Automotive Alliance (NEAA) and North East Process Industry Cluster (NEPIC). Supply Chain North East is receiving up to £3,148,514 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
