What’s a typical day on Supply Chain North East?
My favourite days are spent with clients; carrying out diagnostic appointments and developing bespoke action plans. It’s a privilege to be able to get ‘under the bonnet’ at some of the most innovative companies in the region and to help them to offer new services, enter new markets and grow. The rest of my time is spent on business development, event delivery and project management.
What is your background experience?
Before joining NEPIC, I worked as an advisor for the world’s largest business support network - Enterprise Europe Network. Based at Teesside University, we supported ambitious North East SMEs to expand internationally and win new clients overseas. I’ve previously managed a digital health & wellbeing start-up and worked in various e-commerce businesses.
What are the values that drive you?
Open-mindedness, perseverance and having passion about what you do.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
Reading, cooking and anything that involves football!
