Earlier this week Boris Johnson pledged within a decade every home in the UK will be powered by offshore wind farms. This will in turn open a huge range of opportunities and increase demand in the North, and with Offshore Wind North East (OWNE) on the horizon it is the perfect opportunity to get involved.
Supply Chain North East has partnered with NOF to offer eligible North East companies access to Offshore Wind North East. The two-day event will be delivered virtually this year, and Supply Chain North East have a limited number of fully funded opportunities available.
Themes for this years event at OWNE will be looking at Offshore wind projects, The role of Offshore Wind, Offshore Wind Market, Innovation, Global Offshore Wind and include showcases from Energi Coast and North East England’s offshore wind cluster.
Alan Whittaker, Programme Manager, adds:
“After huge success last year we decided to repeat this for 2020 as soon as we heard that NOF were going ahead with OWNE. I am delighted that we can offer eligible companies a virtual stand across the two days at OWNE and with recent announcements from Boris Johnson it is definitely a great opportunity and place for companies to start making vital connections.
“Although it is delivered online this year, looking at the line up and programme it will undoubtedly be a fantastic event and we are very much looking to be a part of this also.”
