Bev has a background in skills, business support and inward investment and has experience of running her own consultancy. She has a wealth of experience collaborating with key stakeholders and partners to develop and deliver business support solutions across Yorkshire and the Humber. Bev has experience of working with businesses in Manufacturing, MedTech and Life Sciences, Creative & Digital, and Financial & Professional Services. Looking forward to working with WY businesses to support growth and job creation.

Business Support Specialist

Fred is a former MD of a number of companies having 35 years in business at senior levels. His early career was in Heavy Organic Chemicals production in Huddersfield followed by Manufacturing Engineering in Capital Machinery and Structural Steel. Latterly he has been involved in Business Support roles with the Manufacturing Advisory Service and with Green Port Growth Programme in Hull, specialising in business opportunities in the supply chains for OffShore Wind and Renewable Energy.

Harry spent 17 years as an overseas aid worker in various countries including, Bhutan, Sierra Leone, Azerbaijan and Bosnia before coming back to the UK to work in various Local Authorities. His original background is in Construction although he has mostly worked in Socio Economic development since then.

Business Support Specialist

Peter's 20-year aerospace career began at British Aerospace (BAe), where he excelled in Project Management, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Supply Chain Logistics. Notable achievements include pioneering the UK Aerospace industry's first KanBan system, managing a £40m metallic
supply chain overhaul, and establishing logistics for major assembly lines. 

Post-BAe, he rose to Global Head of Strategy, Procurement & Business Development at Thyssenkrupp Aerospace, overseeing a €600m business across 22 countries. Highlights included negotiating contracts with Airbus and Leonardo and harmonizing diverse business processes. Now, Peter
leverages his expertise at the University of Huddersfield and as a Business Support Specialist at RTC North.

Strategic Supply Chain Development Manager

Steve is a seasoned Strategic Supply Chain Development Manager, driving innovation in West Yorkshire. Formerly, he spearheaded ESIF/ERDF programs for Leeds City Region LEP, aiding 800 SMEs. Steve directed LCR LEP's Supply Chain and Manufacturing High Growth Programs, fostering manufacturing advancements. With experience at DuPont, Polestar, Cadburys, and AGFA, he led the Manufacturing Advisory Service for six years, aiding 3200+ businesses and creating 3000 jobs.
